Angelique Brathwaite has over 20 years of experience exploring and managing marine ecosystems within an integrated coastal zone management framework. A past marine biologist for the Government of Barbados, she has worked extensively with governments, NGOs and UN bodies, primarily in the wider Caribbean region.

Primary areas of interest include the management and sustainable financing of Marine Management Areas; Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES); Coral Reef Resilience & Monitoring.

​Angelique holds a Master in Philoshophy in Coral Ecology and is a PhD Candidate for an interdisciplinary degree (ecology and economics). She also has a Project Management Diploma (PMP).
