Daniel Leguía
Daniel Leguia has been working for 10 years in the design of policies, financial and economic mechanisms for implementation, measures and actions, and national strategies for climate finance, and reduction of deforestation and forest degradation, mitigation and adaptation to climate change. He worked independently assuming consulting, research and coordination positions in Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Paraguay.
His main areas of expertise include design of policies and measures for mitigation and adaptation to climate change, economic instruments and financial mechanisms, national climate finance strategies, and environmental economics.
Daniel holds a diploma in Adaptation to Climate Change and Environmental Economics. He is developing a master's degree in Integral Management of Watersheds. He is an Economist at the Bolivian Catholic University.
