Environmental and social due diligence of the wind energy project “Campo Palomas” - Construction stage

POCH SA requested AAE a comprehensive evaluation to provide due diligence services related to environmental, social, health and occupational safety issues for the Wind Farm of the "Campo Palomas" Project, in relation to its design and construction phases. This external evaluation is a requisite from the funding organizations.

Main Tasks
  • Review the project's compliance with the IFC Social and Environmental Performance Standards, the Equator Principles, including ILO Convention 169;
  • Develop action plans to report possible breaches or gaps identified;
  • Review compliance with the project with the Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy of the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC);
  • Review project compliance with local regulations;
Main Outputs
  • Interact with client to ensure that gaps are understood for appropriate actions to be taken;
  • Identify any possible consideration related to the possible cumulative impacts of the Project.
  • Review of baseline information;
  • Identification of social and environmental gaps and risks that the project may have when compared to national and international standards;
  • Report with compliance and identified gaps to be covered.
