In the framework of the 2014 presidential campaign, AAE advised the Environment Commission to design its political manifestations to be as environmentally friendly as possible. To this end, AAE brought together a team of two professionals (a communication expert and an environmental expert) to design a specific toolkit that would be distributed among all the organizers of the rallies.

Main Tasks
  • Establish the baseline of carbon emissions;
  • Collection of fuel data and means of transport for all planned events;
  • Calculation of carbon emissions;
  • Create a Protocol for the effective organization of sustainable events or clean acts and achieve their inclusion by the National Organizing Committee of the FA;
  • Make recommendations to reduce the environmental impact;
  • Compensate for emissions that cannot be reduced or eliminated;
  • Raise awareness about the importance of reducing the impacts generated by the organization of election events and events and the transmission of good practices to both the political force and the FA supporters and undecided;
  • Ensure that the use of recycled material becomes a common printing practice for the FA;
  • Effective communication of the environmental achievements of the campaign that serve to demonstrate the work done but also to ensure that it is replicated in the coming years.
Main Outputs
  • Carbon footprint analysis and compensation options;
  • Study of options;
  • Design and drafting of the Protocol;
  • Design of workshop material.
